Underworld: Blood Wars

Director: Anna Foerster

Stars: Kate Beckinsale, Theo James, Tobias Menzies, Lara Pulver

Why? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Kate Beckinsale in leather? I'm sure this will be good, but I feel a bit detached from this franchise.

week of January 13

The Bye Bye Man

Director: Stacy Title

Stars: Douglas Smith, Lucien Laviscount, Cressida Bonas, Doug Jones

Why? Been waiting for this one. Hoping to be scared on a Friday the 13th!

week of January 20

Split

Director: M. Night Shyamalan

Stars: Anya Taylor-Joy, James McAvoy, Haley Lu Richardson, Kim Director

Why? I continue to enjoy Shyamalan's writing and directing, and I'm thrilled about this multiple personality concept.

week of January 27

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter

Director: Paul W.S. Anderson

Stars: Ruby Rose, Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Iain Glen

Why? Not feeling a strong connection to this franchise either, but still a bit more than Underworld. Have to say I am curious how they're going to wrap everything up.
