week of October 7

The Girl On The Train

Director: Tate Taylor

Stars: Haley Bennett, Emily Blunt, Justin Theroux, Rebecca Ferguson

Why? Decent cast, but I feel like this one's going to be easy to figure out.

week of October 14

Underworld: Blood Wars

Director: Anna Foerster

Stars: Kate Beckinsale, Theo James, Charles Dance, Alicia Vela-Bailey

Why? I mean, I guess… I didn't actually realize this franchise was still going, but Kate Beckinsale continues to be badass in leather.

The Accountant

Director: Gavin O'Connor

Stars: Anna Kendrick, Ben Affleck, Jon Bernthal, Jeffrey Tambor

Why? This could be the second badass Affleck has played this year.

week of October 21

Ouija: Origin Of Evil

Director: Mike Flanagan

Stars: Doug Jones, Elizabeth Reaser, Henry Thomas, Annalise Basso

Why? I think this prequel will be scarier than the first.

week of October 28

Rings

Director: F. Javier Gutiérrez

Stars: Vincent D'Onofrio, Laura Wiggins, Aimee Teegarden, Johnny Galecki

Why? Call all your friends and whisper "7 days!" I'm so glad to have another chapter in this story.
