New Music Picks

Browsing this week's new releases on Amazon.com, which I typically do every week, I discovered a couple of bands that I hadn't heard of, but, based on the song previews, I really like their sound.

Satan - Life Sentence

For a band named "Satan," I did not expect such a smooth sound.  If you read their Wikipedia article, it's pretty interesting to learn that in addition to changing their lineup, like many bands do, they've also changed their name a few times before reverting back to Satan with this new release.

Arcanium - Ontogenesis

From the moment I previewed the first track, I knew I was going to buy this. I love it when you've got some hardcore, headbanging music with some melody mixed in.
